I was a traveller in Tokyo, looking for a place to stay for a little while.
At the Tokyo station, a red brick station which somehow resembles to the Amsterdam station, one thin young white guy came to me and bluntly said, "Hey, I know a good place for accommodation. Aren't you interested?"
May be I was currying a big back pack. May be I was looking around to find a sign of an information centre. But it was strange if you think why he picked me up among thousands of travellers in the busiest station in Japan.
Anyway, that's how I met Pete O'Brien in 1988 in the opposite side of the earth.
